Enrichment

Enrichment is the process of fulfilling the mental and physical stimulation needs of your dog. Enrichment should be safe, given as reinforcement, on a varied schedule, removed before it becomes boring or frustrating and specifically designed for your dogs size, abilities and breed behaviours. Enrichment can come in the form of food, sensory, behavioural, habitat, social and environmental. At Golden Perfection we have created a device that ticks all the boxes fulfulling your dogs enrichment needs on the go or at home. All items are made using high quality non toxic, non pill polar fleece, meaning they can be washed time and time again without balling, this means your dog can sniff away without worries of inhaling small fragments of material. They are personally created for your dogs strength, breed specific foraging traits, size and your colour preferences. All devices like anything with dogs are destructible and should be used under supervision. Each item is homemade and may vary slightly from the given sizes.

Enrichment has always been a huge part of my passions and my career, for years I created safe and enriching devices for dolphins, turtles, parrots and dogs. It brings me so much joy seeing a animal get hours of enjoyment out of an enrichment device that I made. I am so excited to open this up to dogs and other animals across Europe to enjoy my creations.

At Golden Perfection we care about the environment which is why we have created plastic free items and use biodegradable mailing bags. Once your order is placed you may decide between pick up or shipping (prices vary based on the weight starting at €6), shipping is available to Ireland, UK and Europe.

Snuffle Enrichment Benefits

Snuffle devices are one of the best gifts you can give your dog and yourself as the benefits are endlist. Dogs see the world through their nose and compared to humans they are about 100,000 times better than us at picking up scents in their world. Sniffing is basically an olympic sport for dogs. All dogs have great sniffing cababilities some dogs are experts.

As with any other device dogs should be supervised and trained to interact with their new toy appropriately. Once complete the device should be stored to prevent destruction and avoid boredom.
